We have a name! We need a logo!

It's official, thanks to all your great suggestions we have a name for our new farm...TEXOMA FARMS! Here is why we chose that name. It is location based, it is generic enough to transfer ownership and it is simple to remember. There were so many fun name ideas..."Rocking G" and "Grim Acres" were among our favorites. We don't know how long farming flowers, tending to bees, hosting events, and cleaning up after vacationers is going to be fun. We want to be able to sell when we are ready to retire for real!

Why have "FARMS" plural? Technically the bees are considered livestock, and the flowers are a botanical product to sell. These are two separate entities and therefore, two separate farms.

Now we need a logo! Here is kind of what I was thinking and would love your ideas!

I like the idea interlocking T's and F's as well as the mirror image, and the geometric look. It needs to be simple enough for a gate or marquis and easily reproducible.

I am offering a free watercolor of your pet for the person that has an idea that we choose. This is a $150 value! Make a comment here, and send your suggestions to jgcreativeco@gmail.com. We might even take a vote online! You can just draw it and send a photo from your phone of your idea if that would be easier. I am excited to see what you come up with to share!

Speaking of watercolors, I have been very busy this past year. Watercolor is back in style and particularly for wedding stuff!

Here is some work that was used in a recent wedding. I loved how it came out! I paint the dogs individually and provide the hard copy and digital images on transparent backgrounds that can be used anywhere. This couple chose to use the paintings on their signature drink poster as well as their napkins..."We Do Too!" was the caption....adorable! I love it! It makes the work so fun knowing how it will be used. Dogs are the best!

As we approach a new year, I hope you can slow down this holiday and recharge. I pray that you have peace and joy in your lives, and are ready for an amazing 2023! My hope for you in 2023 is to live a life fulfilled, soulful, and full of passion!
